Hello could I have PP please.
No bashing please, I am already anxious talking about this subject.
Basically my LG,who’s 4 is on a week’s holiday at my parents, they don’t live very close to me, so we call it a holiday. My mum called me up today to tell me that Sunday evening my mum put my LG to bed read her a story,tucked her in and then came away from the room; she could hear my LG singing to herself then all went quiet, so my mum doing what’s most parents would do is check to make sure she was not up to no good, but to my mums surprise, my LG was up to something that I would never of dreamed that a 4 year old would do, my LG had taken her clothes of and was touching her self with a teddy. my mum was calm put my lgs PJ’s on and said no we shouldn’t do that with teddy, didn’t say no more and just put her to bed and she nodded off real quick. Today my mum was sat on the sofa watching Cinderella with my LG when my LG started to play with her self next to my mum. My mum handled this very well by talking in a calm tone of voice and said we shouldn’t do this infront of people and can only do it in our room. My concern is that is it normal for her age? How would you deal with it? Im a first time and it has made me very anxious as she will start school in September and im feeling mixed emotions to will she try and do this at school or in public. Will this be reported to SS? Will I get in trouble for letting her do it again? Im so in shock 😢
