Hello could I please have a private post?

I’ve had to quit my job due to stress and personal health. My dad has terminal Cancer, my mom is ill, I have a 15 month old and I just feel like life is getting a bit on top of me.
My husband fully supported my decision and encouraged me to hand in my resignation as we both felt it was best for all of us. I finished work on compassionate leave as my dad found out his diagnosis is 3-9 months ish… and I had a complete break down.

My question is, I plan on applying for universal credit when it is rolled out in July. I was just wondering if anyone knows how the process will go, do I need my doctors notes? What will happen? Thank you.
