Hello could you do a post for me please..

Can anyone tell me their experiences please.

I live in a private one bed flat with my 19 month old daughter, I pay £695 not including bills. I struggle to pay my rent on time each month, I have to pay the majority and then the rest the following month which then stops me paying the full amount the month after etc etc.

I’m so sick and tired of living here! I have no storage, the tiniest kitchen going, damn rising up my wall in the bedroom, cracks appearing everywhere! (Newly decorated when I moved in Nov ’15 clearly to cover the shoddy work) I do one ‘massive’ shop a month of about £50-£60 as i cant get to a supermarket without having to spend £9-10 on a taxi back, i just pick up little bits I run out of during the month from the corner. It’s getting on top of me so bad, I’m so stressed 24/7!! I’ve tried making an appointment with the council to talk about where i am on the list, how long it could take, if there is anymore I can do but I always get turned down, so I’m never in the know of anything! My last thought is to ask my landlord to evict me just to get out of here 😢 I’m at my wits end!

So my questions after that essay is… have you ever asked your landlord to evict you so you can get moved into emergency accommodation and into a flat quicker? How long were you in emergency for? Did you get moved out of your area? Tia x
