Hello could you please post this for me.

My 2 year old son has had a temperature of up to 39.4 since Tuesday if I give him calpol or nurofen he’s absolutely fine the temperature is gone and he is him self again however the minute it stops working he’s really lifeless just wants to lay down and sleep which is not like him. He’s been off his food but im managing to get some in him when his temperature is down. We’ve been to the hospital he’s had his ears throat belly and urine checked and there is no sign of any infection so they just advised me to give him calpol and nurofen for the next 5 days. I’m so worried what could be wrong with him and he’s never been ill I’ve only stoped breastfeeding 4 months ago when he turned 2 and he’s not got a cough a runny nose so I don’t know what it could be? Does anyone know? Please help as doctors and the hospital won’t! 😔😔😔
