Hello fellow csection mummies 👋 I had a emergency csection with my boy in Feb 2016 due to my body failing to dialate past 7cm and my boy getting stuck in my birth canal after being induced, having contractions off the scale and my water popped 2 times (3 times when having my csection) anyway I’m due again Oct 2017 and I’m very nervous as I’ve been told by one consultant doctor that I should opt for an elective csection due to 2 failed attempts of spinal epidurals when having my csection and also due to me putting more weight on since (bmi is now over so I’m consultant lead) sorry to go on just want to explain as much as i can. I’ve decided on elective due to worrying that if my body doesn’t fail to dialate again then I’d have another emergency and could end up being put to sleep for it with them failing with needle twice last time so more likely this time as doctor stated so it’s the safest for both me and baby but I’ve heard that the recovery time is more painful and longer is that true? Any heads up or advice anyone could give me? I’m so unsure of what to expect, thanks in advance
