Hey can I have a private post please 😊
Basically I’m 33 weeks pregnant and walked into a door handle 😞 it’s marked my bump and feels bruised, but my only concern is I’m rhesus negative… would I need to go and get a top up of anti D? Before anyone starts telling me they’re not a doctor I’m waiting for triage AND my midwife to get back to me and just need advice whilst I’m waiting 😊 thank you all xx

I am rhesus neg and I had anti d so many times during my pregnancy, I have 3 boisterous step children so there were a few accidents and my dads dog jumped up at me on one occasion…each time I rang for advice and they wanted to give it to me, I also had 7 unrelated bleeds, again they wanted me to have it each time..always better to be safe 👍🏻
I’m rhesus negative and had a fall while pregnant I did not get a top up of aunti D, could be a risk of having too much I just went for a scan the monitored me until they knew everything was OK he’s now 18 month hope all goes well love sure you and baby will be fine keep us updated ❤️
I have the same blood and was told its only if i had a bleed i would need the anti d again.
I would phone for advice but you are told to get advice if such happens.
Yes I was told and knock to bump would require a jab I was knocked by a shopping trolley and needed one x
