  • I was in care and going in taxi’s to school often, I’m not sure where you are from but it’s not so bad for a child to be in a taxi, I used to be in the ‘black cabs’ your son needs to attend school and from the information you’ve given taxi would be the best option, maybe you could get help with costs? • Can your husband take him to school? I’m guessing he works but is he able to speak to his work about it or is there a breakfast club your child can go to? Or could you and your child get a taxi?

  • I would speak to school, see if even another parent from his class would pick him up for you, maybe his friends parents wouldnt mind helping out for a few weeks.

  • Speak to the school. They may be able to arrange something for you with either a teacher or a parent from your childs class

  • My 3yr old has broke his foot he is still very much determined to be on the go. Guessing you are on crutches? You could easily get in a taxi and takr your child school. Iv been at hospital twice today as my son has stood up and cracked his plaster cast. He isnt allowed crutches as they start from 4yrs but nothing has stopped him
