Hey hun can you do me a post please- photo will be attached in comments.. my daughter’s 5 &1/2 and a few weeks ago she complained behind her bottom teeth was hurting so I checked and it looked like an ulcer anyway today she’s just asked what was behind her tooth and it’s another tooth growing behind her baby tooth :/ anyone else had the same or what should I do she isn’t registered at a dentist yet. None of her teeth are wobbly and she hasn’t lost any teeth yet xx thank you

  • It’s completely normal. My 6 year olds teeth did this. I would also recommend getting your child Registered at a dentist – just to get them into the routine of going.

  • It is normal for the adult teeth to come through behind the baby teeth & eventually push them out. Do recommend finding a dentist though (guidance is they should be registered with the first baby tooth to get used to people looking in the mouth )

  • A few of my daughters have done this. Another at the top pushed the baby tooth back and it hung in behind her fully grown adult tooth for months before coming out. Sometimes they’ll align themselves as they’re mouths grow other times, like in my daughters case, they’ll need braces to help. She’s awaiting her appointment with the orthodontist now but it is normal 😊

  • It’s fine this is what happened to my son just keep an eye on it… my son’s come tho half way wonky then his baby tooth fell out with In 2 weeks it was in the correct place

  • My post- Ah thank you it just worried me incase she had to have her tooth out you’ve put my mind at ease I’m going register with a dentist on Monday hopefully it will push the baby tooth out then xx
