Hey I’m not normally one for asking for help but I’m in desperate need of some advice, my daughter (only child) is now 15months old and has been exclusively breastfeed the entire time which I love, but she’s been flat out twisting and pulling on my nipples as a comfort thing which is starting to drive me nutty from the pain. If I tell her no, and remove her from the breast she’ll do nothing but scream until I let her get her way. I’m about at wits end with this one, I’ve started trying ween her by mix feeding with formula because of it and she’s not liking it at all. Is there anything else I could do to try and snap her out of this nipple fascination? Her determination is unbelievable, so far tonight she’s been having a melt down about it for an hour
