Hey is it possible to get another pp please? I feel I have no one else to talk to.
So at the weekend I left my partner of many years for domestic violence. He was not arrested but police and social services involved because he threatened me with a weapon. He has been to see our children today and we slept together. I know I should have kept my distance.. He then told me he would like to go to counseling and get help for depression and anger. And he would like to take things slow and potentially get back together. 90% off the relationship was brilliant but I don’t know how I feel. I know what he did was wrong and I know I definitely should not have slept with him or got so close a few days after. I’m not sure what to do or how to feel but my question is has anyone ever got back with a partner after domestic abuse? Does it ever work out for the best?
