Hi, bit of advice needed please guys!!! Sorry it’s really long. Well.. been dragged through family court by no1 doting dad. Ha! Last hearing was feb this year. Child arrangements order put in place so my lg lives with me but went to stay at dads every fortnight all supervised by paternal parents. Well back in may I had a phonecall from ss to say that there had been an dv incident with no1 dad and ex gf. (Who was pregnant with his child) lots of dv in our relationship but I got out while I could before I got seriously hurt (happened a few times) anyway I suspended contact till everything was out in the open, turns out it was all the truth. Basically he lied through his teeth and said it was all sour grapes. I have a statement from her n her sister to prove it was defo not sour grapes. Anyway he’s now not bothered to contact me regarding our lg in 28weeks. Although there is a cao in place can I change her name by specific issues order? I was forced into having his last name as hers as there was a lot of mental abuse to. I absolutely hate it. She doesn’t ask about her dad, her behaviour is a million times better from not seeing him(he tried to turn her against me and told her that if she told mummy that she hates me she could go and live with him) i understand all kids should see both parents but he doesn’t even care about her. My partner has been more of a dad to her than he ever has.. sorry it’s so long xx
