I’m really upset I don’t understand what to do
I was watching TV with my 3 year old little girl and I saw her rubbing her finger on her private parts. I didn’t stop her or say anything as didn’t want to scare her as I know children may do this and discover their own bodies but just didn’t expect it at her age. I just asked her where have you learned this from… she got upset and kept saying nothing mummy nothing, she seemed upset so I gave her a hug and I asked have you seen someone do this. She then told me a girl from her nursery class takes her in the play house so the teacher can’t see and touches her and her friends private parts. What do I do? Advice please ladies

Report to the setting immediately & to the designated safeguarding officer, it needs to be dealt with promptly in a sensitive way. And there MAY be something happening at home. xx
I’d go to the nursery and ask them for a word and explain what your daughter told you and see if they can get to the bottom of it, bit ask them to keep you in the loop! I wouldn’t keep it to yourself x
Go to the nursery. Get the child’s name from your daughter.. Hope she’s ok 🙁 xx
