Hi can I have a pp please.

I don’t know how to help my husband. We’ve been together for about 2 years. We are very honest, supportive with each other and talk about everything. So he was telling me some stories from his past- didn’t have an easy childhood as he was sent to islamic, very strict boarding school abroad by his parents at the age of 11 for 4 years. Never forgiven his parents did that to him as he was(there) regularly beaten up, punished in very weird and violent ways, shouted at etc. So at the beginning of the relationship he told me he had a dark secret he would rather never tell me about and from a few conversations I assumed something really really bad was happening there apart from the things I mentioned. So when I was pregnant, he was getting a bit stressed, we argued a lot (hormones power) even though we were very sweet together he started treating me badly. After a few very bad arguments he finally said he was depressed and stressed and said it wasn’t connected to me. So he told me about his dark secret that was he was regularly sexually abused there by two men. He keeps thinking about it and it’s very hard for him. Basically I didn’t say much apart from cuddling and reassurance I’m always there for him and I was overwhelmed by pregnancy so I couldn’t really think of anything else. But we were still arguing later, he said I didn’t support him (as i was still moody and stuff) and he decided to go to the psychologist. But I’m not sure if it helps him. He says he’s okay and we argue much less from the time baby was born (she’s now 4 months) which is good. But how can I talk to him about this? What should I say to him? I never start this topic as I don’t want to remind him of those things but now even when he goes to the doctor I don’t know what I should be saying. I just always say that I love him. Maybe any of you had a similar thing to deal with and is able to give me a piece of advice?
