Hi, can I have a pp please.
My partners ex and him had set up an agreement for the amount she wants him to pay monthly towards his child. This has been set in place for the last three years or so. She recently got with a new guy and bought a new car. My partner has received a letter through the door from csa who are asking for more than we can even afford! We have two young kids ourself and I’m really stressing about how we’re going to manage. His ex is is being really difficult and refuses him to see her Daughter as she know this will result in her claiming more

I know someone going through similar experience, claiming more money yet refusing boys to see father esp on fathers day 😠 God knows what goes through some women’s minds.
If he has them over night more then 52 times in a year it effects it not if iys just days and the two children living with you and him effect it too. Cms only go on what your partner earned in his last financial year. You could ask to be reassessed? My exs child support is based on him earning £280 a week take home and he has two children living with him. For our four children cms have asked him to pay £46 per week. X
They will knock it down once you let them know you have kids x
