Hi can I have a pp please, this morning I asked my oh to get up with our 3 week old as I had been up with him all night, he has colic and didn’t sleep at all last night. He fed him and was changing his bum when his phone rang and he answered, leaving our son half changed on his changing mat, he weed on himself and oh had a complete meltdown, screaming at me to get up, after a heated exchange he grabbed me by the neck holding a fork to my throat. He was holding really tight so I reacted out of self defence to get him off me and lashed out back wards and caught him on the forehead with my fingers, he let go and slapped me hard round the face. I got my little boy, took him in the spare room and got him changed, came back into the bedroom and asked oh to leave. He refused and still hasn’t left. He keeps apologising and crying, he has been downstairs since, cleaning up, I have stayed upstairs with my little one out of the way. This is the first time anything like this has happened, I love him very much I am just stuck at what to do. I am more upset that this happened infront of my son and that he was left half dressed and wet while it happened than anything else, I called his dad to ask him to come and collect him but there was no answer and he hasn’t called back. I don’t know wether to leave, if I leave I would have to go to my mums, if that happens I don’t think there will be any going back as my mother would go completely crazy if she found out he has hit me, it would ruin our family and extended family completely. We are both very stressed and tired and I know this could just be a reaction to that but what if it happens again? I am so confused
