Hi, can I have a pp please?

Hi mums, I need some help with formula feeding. My 5 week old is currently fed on Aptamil ready made first milk and although it’s super handy it is also very expensive so I’m considering moving onto the powder instead.

My questions are relating to how you make up the feeds, so the box says that you have to boil the kettle then leave it for 30 mins and no longer then add the powder, shake well and cool down. My query about this is that if a baby is crying for a feed they are hardly going to wait half an hour for the kettle to get to the right temp? I’m sure I’ve heard that you can add the powder straight to boiled water then just cool down the feed, is that right? How does everyone else do it? Also, can you store pre-made feeds in the fridge like a days worth and just heat them up and use them as needed? Thanks from a very confused mum x
