Hi, can I have a pp to the appropriate page please. My baby is almost 7 weeks old and breastfed and has not had a dirty nappy in two weeks. I have been advised by my health visitor it can be normal for breastfed babies to go longer however if we got to day 14 (today) to speak to a gp. We have had a telephone appointment this afternoon (could not physically get there due to weather) and the gp has advised 3oz of cooled boiled water with brown sugar and if no movement to take her in tomorrow. Is this safe? I was under the understanding a breastfed baby should not be given water under 6 months. If not does anyone have any advice how to help her other than baby massage that we’ve tried. Thank you.
