  • It’s 4 hours between each dose for calpol so if had calpol at 1.30 it would be 5.30 and they usually recommend 2hours after calpol can have iboprufen if needed but hospital gave my little boy it an hour after calpol the other week x

  • Yes they are 2 different types of medication, one being paracetamol and the other ibrufen, once the correct amount of dose is administered according to bottles it is perfectly fine

  • Yeah you can Hun it has to be the same medicine that’s given min of 4 hours after first dose. Told by doctor and I work with medication

  • Nurofen doesnt have paracetamol in it so can be taken together but still has to be 4 hours between the same medicine x

  • You can alternate the two, 4 hours of each medicine, if my boys are poorly I’d give calpol then 2 hours later ibuprofen then calpol 2 hours after ( so 4 hours after first dose )

  • Yes then you switch between the 2 that’s how I’ve always done it or given calpol after the 4 hours 2 hours later ibuprofen etc nurse and doctors have always said that x

  • You can alternate paracetamol and ibrofuen but meant to be spaced doses. Example paracetamol 8am ibrofuen 10 am paracetamol 12 etc
