Hi can I have a ppp.

Has anyone been in real debt with council tax and had a committal to court and not been sent to prison?
I’ve been finding it really difficult to keep up with payments and my debt altogether is around 2,600 pounds.
The court sent me a letter to offer payment online and I offered but council declined it. I then offered more but they declined that too. I’m a single parent with two young children and now I’m so scared that I will be sent to prison. I have offered payment and am paying what I can in the mean time but I’m crying with worry. If anyone has any experience or advice I will be so thankful. Thanks x
