hi can I have a ppp

long story but looking for advise on a ex partner, I have a 2 year old with.
last year he was sentenced to prison for drink driving for 2 years but only dome 9 months and is currently on tag until September. whilst he was in prison i got with my current partner of now 7 months. my ex partner has done nothing but try cause trouble for me and my current partner, I’ve asked him to only contact me when it’s to deal with our son but he will stay up most nights threatening to cause trouble between me and my current and threaten to “bring he’ll into my life” he is demanding money from me to which I’ve made the point o don’t owe him anything as I had our son on my own for 9 months and still continue to support him alone but he doesn’t quite get that. I have been in touch with the police about this but they don’t do anything. I’m looking to know if their is anything I can do to stop this? many thanks
