Hi can I have a PPP? Me and my partner are trying for a baby and have been for about 3 years now. I have a 3 and a half year old and about 6 months before finding out I was pregnant I found out I have Pcos. Since trying for another I have tried proverb and Clomid. I am unable to have IVF on NHS as I have already have a child and I can’t afford to get it privately. Me and my partner have discussed adoption but I would really love to carry another child, not just because I would like another but because I wasn’t able to enjoy my last pregnancy for many reasons that will be too long for this post. It’s really getting me down and I don’t know what to do! Has anyone else been through this? Is there anything I can do to help my fertility? I’m the right weight, don’t drink, eat healthily (the occasional takeaway), mid 20s and I’m desperately trying to quit smoking (have gone from 40 to 10 and still going). I’m at my wits end. What can I do?

I hear that when prescribing Clomid for ovulation metformin (a diabetes medication) can also help you to ovulate when diagnosed with PCOS. Only mentioning this as you didn’t mention being prescribed metformin. x
