Hi can I have a ppp please …. i split from my ex husband 3 years ago … after 11 years together and 4 children … since the split he WAS initially seeing the children mon-wed every week and helping with 40 a week maintenance … after a few months … of this arrangement he started with the games I’d arrive to drop the children off he wasn’t there … turned his phone off for days and constantly kept letting the children down … we sat down and I tried to discuss that the children needed stability and that he needed to stick to the original arrangement … more so as my eldest is autistic so needed routine and structure as this was very unsettling for him …. anyways he still carried on with letting them down and started to refuse to pay the maintenance for them … the final straw was I went to drop the children off and his flat was empty I had phoned him to be told he had moved in with his girlfriend … this girl had Been in prison for drug issues … aswell as social services involved with her children … and a known alcoholic so I refused contact at her property and that if he wanted to see the children he could so at my home … that was 16 month ago .. I applied for mediation he didn’t turn up … I got the csa involved which took a payment oct 2016 and Nov 2016 he then quit his job in time for Xmas and is back in work n still refusing to help towards the kids … he has recently been in touch demanding to see the children and threatening me with court action … would they allow access to him baring in mind he not bothered in 16 month and is still living with this girl he had recently lost his license for drink driving … im all for dads being involved really am and I have tried by offering contact at mine in the 16 month he hasn’t send bday cards Xmas cards nothing I am wrong for wanting to keep him out of there life .. as I feel he is so unstable
