So my sons dad hasn’t bothered with my son, I phoned them 4 weeks ago asking them to see him as I was fed up waiting for them to ask. He’s 1 and a half years old, we’ve been meeting at play areas quiet ones where just daddy and son time, it was going great the first 2 times until he started acting like he didn’t want to interact with my child, now it’s been 3 times to the play area and today was my last straw, met up at a play area and I had to play with my son in the play area because his dad wouldn’t now I don’t mind as I like playing with him but I got 3 hours sleep last night and a bad back.
Now my sons been unsettled since his dad has shown he doesn’t want to do anything with him. My sons been very clingy and confused, my hv said it’s because he will pick up on his dad not wanting to spend time with him. I’m asking what I should do? He’s now started to not settle at my mums house and she looks after him Friday and Saturday nights because I work night shift them nights and without the money we wouldn’t have the life we have, I started this when he was 1 year old x
