Hi can I have a ppp?
Has anyone had an assessment for PIP before who suffers with Arthritis in the shoulder?
Basically I’ve had two operations because I’m in so much pain and have limited mobility in my shoulder and the last operation didn’t go well and I’ve been told I need a full shoulder replacement as it’s that bad but unfortunately they will not let me have the operation because I’m too young which is very depressing as I have to suffer with this!!
Just wondered what the assessment is about cause don’t know anything about PIP etc.

It’s not about the illness or injury. It’s about how it effects you on a daily basis. You’ll be asked questions about it and given a small physical exam. And you’ll be scored either zero standard or high. Don’t expect to be awarded highly either. Go to your assessment with the mindset you’ll fail, if you do fail you’re prepared and instantly ready to fight and appeal. Ppl on here may or may not say put it on that you’re in severe pain. Don’t do it 99.9% of the time they will see straight through anybody trying to play them.
Be truthful, be prepared to fail and be prepared for a long fight to get what you deserve.
