Bit of a long one…
I split up with my 2 daughters dad a few months ago, we were together nearly 4 years but the last 2 have just been living together for the sake of the girls. Ive been seeing someone new since last month. He is really nice and I cant fault him for anything. We see each other weekly and talk every night, if I dont message him he messages me. Problem im having is im unsure whether or not in the long run he would want more than what we have just now? I dont want to be pushy and ask as im not ready to jump straight into a relationship with anyone else until I was completely certain it was the right choice. I have a history of domestic violence and rape so I wouldnt want to give someone my everything if they dont see this being a long term thing. He seems to like me and has said on a few occasions he enjoys my company etc but hes a friend of one of my closest friends and they told me not to get my hopes up as hes not really a relationship person. But I feel im getting mixed signals from the guy being the way he is with me but also been told other things by my friend. I just want to know where I stand or if he thinks its going anywhere without it being obvious! Any advice is needed as ive kinda forgot what the whole seeing someone is all about 😕 thank you!!x
