Hi can I have a ppp?Sorry nbr. Work have well and truly screwed me over this Christmas. I was told by my consultant that I need to be on bedrest I have lupus, preclampsia and will need a section in the next 1-2 weeks. I told my work and asked if I can use my holiday and start maternity early on medical grounds in which I was told not a problem. Not that it would be put off sick leave. Wasn’t told to bring in any sick notes just to update when I’ve had the baby. Now it comes to payday and I haven’t been paid and of course ring and ask why to which I’m told because I’m off sick and haven’t provided proof and won’t be paid for hours I haven’t done which was not what was agreed otherwise I 100% would have got sick notes for the hospital stays. Anyway they’re saying nothing will be done about it even if I get notes now and I will be paid my holiday after baby is born. So I’m going through Christmas now completely broke with a baby coming in 2 weeks. No chance of a loan,bills to pay and a toddler to look after. Any words of wisdom that are going to get me through this? I won’t be paid anything until in their eyes February the payday after baby is due don’t know what I’m going to do x
