Hi can I have a private post on the mums chat and advice page please. So me and my partner have been together for nearly 4 years now, we already have a 2 year old and I’m currently pregnant with our second. Now my partner can be the most loving and supportive person when he wants to be but recently I feel so alone all the time, he’s constantly telling me things around the house are my job and I have had to pay all the rent and bills so far this month and don’t even have a penny to myself yet he’s paid for him and his friend to go football twice and is also gonna be paying train tickets. Don’t get me wrong I love him but just feel like I would be better off on my own. Its not easy as we have a joint tenancy and the landlord is a really good friend of his so I know it’s me that needs to find somewhere else.. but where the hell do I start. Just to add I have spoken to him about his selfish behaviour and his reply was it’s not his fault he earns more than me and so he should be able to do something he wants and just laughed when I said it’s not fair that I have to pay for everything else we will lose our house his reply was get a better job then even though I’m on mat leave xx
