Hi can I have a private post please about who does what in your home

My other half would like your opinions

So my other half works very hard, he works four full days and two half days

I work two full days and one half day

Twice a week he gets in from work and washes up after tea (my long working days)

On my days off I do everything, like food shopping, house work, pay bills, washing/drying, I look after an elderly relative aswell, so without typing loads you mom’s understand when I say I do everything for us all.

On my working days I still do everything including cooking our teas (he will order in sometimes rather than cook) make our work meals for the next day the kids school lunch general tidy up any washing need doing etc but I ask him to wash up.

On a weekend because he works a Saturday morning (around 3-5 hours) he doesn’t feel he should do anything in the house because he puts in so many hours.

We both pay equally on all bills.

He asks if you mom’s think he should help out at all with anything else?

My comment is that if he lived alone no one would be keeping the house so to speak or do you think I should be doing as I am without any expectations for a meal to be cooked or washing up to be done or the vac put over to help?
