Hi can I have a private post please and sorry it’s a long one…
Hi ladies after some advice I was with my daughter (who is 6years old) dad for 7 year we’ve been split rough 2.5years it was not a nice relationship towards the end it was d.v related on his part he had me controlled in every aspect of life and on all sorts of drugs and our daughter seen a lot she shouldn’t have, when I eventually had courage to leave him it didn’t end there he stalked me for a while I kept getting police involved he came to my mams were i was staying at the time and hit me in the face in front of our daughter, he’s stormed into my home and smashed our house up something my daughter has never forgotten and is pretty messed up over ive had all sorts of support for her, all in this time ss assessed me and says as long as I continue to safe guard then I’m ok, him however was only allowed supervised contact through family which worked for a little while until he started picking fights with them and turning up to see her of his face, well my ex went to jail for 15months (something totally unrelated to us) he’s been out a few months now and swears he changed n of drugs and staying of them bla bla so I says he could see her in contact centre for supported contact we went through all the relevant stuff an contact centre didn’t want him near the place as to unpredictable and to much d.v involved they says he needs proper supervised with social worker etc but the costs a lot of money and he’s on benefits, so I figured I can’t keep them apart forever so I started supervising contact once a week and he was seeing her the odd time at his mams well it didn’t work out as i realised he was just wanting to be around me and question my life he just couldn’t be bothered to play with her, do things with her and she was seeing it for herself and saying things like “dad u don’t even care etc” so I stopped the contact with me and he was seeing her at his mams once a fortnight well he’s now back on the drugs and picking fights again so ive stopped it altogether and says he will have to take me to court now if he wants to see her baring in mind there has never been no courts or court order before and ive seeked legal advice and they says in doing the best to keep daughter safe but his argument is because there is no one legal like ss involved it’s just me being difficult and using her as a weapon which I far from doing ive never bad mouthed him infront of her and always incourage her to speak to him over phone she does love her dad to bits but she’s so emotionally unstable and confused and thinks he doesn’t care or love her and ive told her dad knows what he needs to do to be able to see you , he’s now saying he’s Guna make sure he bumps into me in the street as I can’t do nothing etc in just on the bottom with it all please no bashing we’ve been through a lot and still are
