Hi can I have a private post please? Had a scan at the early pregnancy unit yesterday and confirmed I’m 8 weeks pregnant. They booked me in for a 12 week scan in September and said that I needed to see the midwife before this…I’ve rang the doctors and the midwife is fully booked and said there is nothing they can do…they weren’t helpful at all. So now I’m stuck and don’t know what to do? Or who to ring and sort something. Should I cancel my 12 week scan until I can get a midwife appointment or can I get a midwife appointment with somebody else somehow? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks xx

Ring the maternity unit and they will sort a booking in appointment for you x
Don’t cancel you’re appointment, look for anther midwife I’m not with the midwife at my doctors either x
