Can you reply to my post please saying ive had one massive blood clot but not filling pads its only light pink blood and not alot.
I was told bigger than a 50p. After my youngest I lost one the size of my hand ! I stood up it fell out of my trousers leg ! I scooped it up and showed them. They weren’t concerned at all.
They used to say anything bigger than a 50p to call the labour ward, my youngest is almost 4 so don’t know if this has changed but was the same for all 5 of mine
I passed a few big clots with all three of mine, they like them to be the shiny liver texture. If worried then always get them checked!
Anything bigger than a 50p needs investigating. Small clots are normal, but big clots could mean infection or retained placenta (my mum had to be treated twice for this)
Apparently so but ive had four kids and each time had masssssive horrible clots. Aslong as your not soaking a pad in a hour i thinks the issue?
Yes this is true i had one and it was a big as a orange i panicked went into a&e silly me was fine they said you should only worry if its a funny colour or bigger then that
I did get clots was always told to ring if bigger than 50p xx
They shouldn’t be size of oranges. If they are get them checked out
i had huge ones with my 5th n 6th , looked like a big piece of liver
You should not be passing clots any bigger than a 50p. If you are please contact your local maternity unit for a further assessment.
I passed one the size of a large lemon. Felt so much better afterwards though!
I was told to let her know about anything bigger than my small finger nail
