Hi, can I have a private post please.
I went for a scan on Wednesday to see if my baby was okay, unfortunately it was bad news and we had lost the baby a few days prior to the scan 😪 I had a suction DnC to remove the remaining pregnancy Thursday the next day. What I was wondering is , is this normal? This is my first pregnancy/miscarrige so I don’t know what to expect…. I had barley any pain, I bled for 2 days and then nothing the bleeding has stopped. I’ve been hearing things from different people about how they bled for months after, just worried about it now? It’s not been 4 days and no bleeding and no pain. Can anyone shed some light. Thank you xxxx

Hey hun so sorry to hear your loss 🙁 it is normal especially with the opp because the opp usually removes every thing so not much is left to come out where as a miscarriage without the opp obviusly It needs to come out so alot more blood. Every one is different and sometimes even with the opp u can bleed alot. Don’t be surprised if you have no bleeding for a week or even 2 and then have a heavy bleed after. Thoughts with u hun get lots of rest x
I had a d n c in Sep I had no bleeding nd no pain after but prior to the d n c I lost 4 pints of blood due to them missing that my placenta had retained and was inside me for 4 weeks after I miscarried the baby so might be different xx
