Hi, can I have a private post please, if possible?
My 1 year old son is still not able to crawl properly but is going to physio to help. He’s currently army crawling using both hands to do it but also only pushing on one leg which is his right.
But last night my mother in law popped round, and then said “oh me and my mum are worried about his army crawling he’s doing. We’re worried he may have cerebral palsy.. my mum was googling about it.”

But the thing is, my sister has it and I’ve seen doctors and two physio ladies and mentioned her and they’ve all said “it’s not genetic so can’t be passed down etc..” plus I’ve never been told him being behind, much of a concern.
So now I’m feeling worried since I’m a first time mum, that they’re trying to scare me by doing these silly google searches instead of letting me seeing professionals first.

I’d prefer to have someone who actually knows something rather than someone who’s gone off a google search.
My current physio lady told me his army crawling is normal and it’s when they bum shuffle it’s a concern; sorry for rambling can’t speak to no one else regarding it.
