Hi can I have a private post please

Me and my partner have been together for over 2 years and I’m 14 weeks pregnant and we’re super excited! However, he got divorced about 8 years ago and has a son with her and pays for him through CSA but isn’t allowed to see him due to her not wanting anything to do with him, anyway, as many of you may be aware, the CSA has changed so they sent my partner a letter and he agreed to pay straight to her account but on the letter she still has his last name?? My partner claims he was unaware of this as they haven’t had contact for 8 years but now I’m a bit unsure that I want my baby to have his last name but he’s adamant that the baby must have his surname.
