Hi can I have a private post please. My daughter started stammering a few month ago but all of a sudden she stopped and went back to normal talking she could still say the words she wanted to stay so it was on and off. I spoke to her nursery and the health visitor who wasn’t concerned. But again she’s started doing it again and it’s more constant than it was before. Has any other parents child done this and git advice. Or what they did and if their child had any speech therapy. Thanks in advance 😊

Cam you respond please and say she’s three and a half. She has a nearly two year old brother the only thing of change is that she’ll be starting a new nursery in September. I can’t think of anything else why it’s started again and got worse xx
My little boy developed a stutter when he was about 2 yrs 8 mnts, we were potty training, expecting a new baby and he was starting pre school. I thought maybe it was all a bit much for him so we stopped the potty training (as the other 2 were happening no matter what) and the following morning his stutter had gone. Is there lots going on at the moment, maybe they are worrying about stuff and don’t know how to tell you about it.
