Hi can I have a private post please?

So I just found out a few days ago that I am pregnant with baby number 2. Both myself and partner super excited! We already have a toddler ( she will be 2 in January) anyways my question is when did you make an appointment with the gp/midwife? I can’t remember with my first as I was living in a different place and just went to the hospital to confirm with a scan. I’m in early stages so should I wait till I’m 8 weeks?? Or should I make an appointment today?
