Hi can I have a private post please x
I live in a flat which is only two floors. I’m on the first floor and the woman who lives below me watches her tv incredibly loud. I’ve got work in a few hours and because I’m a light sleeper it’s all I can hear.
I’m not good at confrontation and this woman’s in her 60s so I don’t want to upset her, she moved in just over a month ago. Has anyone else been in this situation and what did you do? Thanks x

seeing as she’s in her 60s, she may have a little trouble hearing the TV. A former neighbour of mine used to have his tv loud but as we knew he was deaf, we just ignored it and lived with it for 19 years!
She could be hard of hearing I know when I’ve gone into my nans her tv is blaring and she’s not realised how loud it is I’m sure if you spoke to her and explained she’d understand
just go and have a word. just be nice about it just tell her exactly what you’ve said here. explain you work and her TV keeps you awake so if she doesn’t mind keeping the volume down x
She may not realise it’s that loud just say could u turn it down a bit plz I’m sure she’d be fine
