Hi can i have a private post please?

Hi just wondering if anyone has any tips or experienced this, my son has always been leaving going to the toilet till the last minute which has resulted in accidents (1&2s), well at first i thought it was being lazy or too busy playing, i have numerous conversations with him and that if i can smell him then others can! He is now hiding his soiled underwear in his room when he does it becsuse he knows he will get wrong! I dont know what else to do hes 8 so understands but when i ask him ehy he does it i just get the same answer “i dont know” any advice welcome thank you
