Hi can I have a Private post please,
I set up my tv license when I moved into my new house, the direct debit was all set up but they returned all payments straight after which I didn’t realise, they sent me a letter basically saying it needs to be paid by the 18 of this month but when I check my tv license online it says it’s been paid, I rang them this morning to tell them that and to cancel my tv license as I’ve moved and it’s already been paid for by someone else in my new property, but I’m just wondering would you pay what is owed? I’ve got a new bank account and I’ve moved house so they have no details for me, people are telling me not to pay it because I have proof saying it’s been paid (even though I don’t think it actually has) but I was just wondering what everyone else would do
