Hi, can I have a private post please?

I’m a single parent to an amazing 8 year old son. His biological father has never been around since the day I told him I was pregnant. It was his choice. He wanted nothing to do with me or “the baby”. It was fine. I didn’t let it bother me. I have always had a great family support and my son wants for nothing. He has never asked about his “dad”. He has a great male role model in my dad, my stepdad, my brother and even my uncle. He loves them all so much and they him. But he is now 8 years old and in year 4. They have started learning about families. I’m worrying about him asking me about his dad. I don’t know what to say. He is autistic too so I have to really think about what he will actually understand. Any advice on how to go about talking with him about it would be greatly appreciated.
