hi, can i have a privete post please as need some advice.
sorry in advance for the long post.. im currently 26 weeks pregnant and work for a school catering company. since i was about 20 weeks ive had terriable pain in my hip, my doctor diagnosed spd and signed me off work from the 31st october. ive recently had further testing which has reveled i dont have spd but in fact bursea of the hip joint and am now waiting for steriod injections. my doctor is trying to rush it through asap so i can return to work. i went to my head office yesterday to give them an update of the situation and was informed that they have employed someone else to cover my maternity leave already? im not on materniry just off sick and now feel like i cant return to work as ive been replaced 🙁 they are not a very understanding company and ive had nothing but trouble with them since finding out im pregnant. a friend has advised to rake them to a tribunal for constructive dissmasal and maternity discrimination but im not sure if i can or should? can anyone please advise as feel so low about it all at the moment 🙁
