Hi can I have private post please. My wee girl is 8 months old. She seems to have a runny nose, a wee cough too, won’t drink her bottles maybe drink 1oz. She’s crying most of the day, can’t really breathe out her nose. When should I get her checked. Also should she drink her bottles even though having a cold?

Have you tried saline nasal spray? Or Vicks on her chest, calpol plug ins? Olbas oil Is also good. Put a pillow underneath the mattress to slant it so she’s not completely flat. Poor little baby so much going around. As long as she has wet nappies and no temp I’d just keep an eye x
She’s probably not able to drink her milk if her nose If full . Try using the calpol plug in I find them great and rub a little bit of baby rub on her nose if you have some . Give her calpol it might help dry up her noise get her checked in morning with GP
Try getting some baby nasal drops to help her breathe better. Might be why she won’t drink because it will be harder to suck, breathe and swallow with her having a cold. Also you could try Calpol x
Get the calpol plug ins, they will help you’re wee one breath better, and if you are overly worried contact your health visitor. X
