Hi. Can I have this as a private message without name mentioned. I have a hard situation and I’d like to know what another mummies thinking. Basically I am a single mum with twin boys and I meet some one 2 month ago through online dating website. I mentioned to this person I have two children cos this is not something you can hide. As we were dating more and more and get to like each other more and more we decided to become as a couple after 1 month. I started to let him see my twins time to time. We went on holiday together without the twins it was so special and great But I always felt he has something which he isn’t told me yet. There was a sign he could have a wife, or some one living with him. Until yesterday I thought He was just messing around with me so I told him he has two option either he’s going to tell me what’s going on or we done for good. Well… He told me he has two kids one of them 3 and the smallest 20 month old. Don’t get me wrong i have no problem with the children My main problem is that he kept it hidden away from me 2 month. As he told me yesterday I felt like some one throw hot boiling over on me i was shocked and super upset. He told me he is not together with their mum and he want separate from her because of me and the mother use the kids agains him. the reason why they separated cos the ex partner got pregnant with the second little one without he agreed on. He has this problem with her the last 3 years. He told me it’s time to move on and wants to live with me and have a new life with me. at the moment he told me he wants to keep our relationship as a secret because if she finds out she would make his life hell and she’s going to runaway with his daughters as she done it before. What do you think ladies what shall I do ? i mean i want to support him and be there for him cos i love him and i know he love me too. But it’s such a hard situation. He also told me he wants to keep our relationship as a secret until he manage to get an agreement with her over the girls and soon as she sign the agreement we can live our life together. They have a house togeher which she lives in. he is paying child support 1000 £ a month and he is spending 2 weekends a monrh with the girls while the mum out. on last friday when he went to see the girls the ex partner called the police on him saying he bit her which i know is not true and my partner end up arrested and spend a night in the police station. I’m so upset because I’ve never been in this situation. Sorry for the long messages.
