Im due to have my first baby Christmas Day!
I’m thinking of breastfeeding as I have been told it’s so much better for baby, I was just wondering how long people normally breastfeed for

I’m currently breastfeeding my daughter she is nearly 19 months I plan to fully breastfeed till she is 1 then slowly wean her onto expressed breast milk into cups so I get my boobs back lol. So worth it I only did 12 weeks with my eldest I wish I’d have kept going
I done exclusive breast feeding for 6 months will all three of mine then as and when after that. At about 9 months was only morning and evening stopped with all at 10-11 months good luck and buy nipple sheilds to start xxx
The world health organisation recommend 2 years but it’s all down to personal choice. Some go longer some go shorter, up to you and bubs 🙂
I think it just depends really. Some people do it or 2years some 1 and some only months go by you and your baby see how it goes and good luck! Xx
As long as you can I could only do it for a few months with 3 of mine then had another 16yrs later and breastfeed until 16 months x
My son was almost 4 before I stopped b/feeding. Its entirely up to you. See how u get on with it and decide then. Xx
