Hi can you post please. Anyone got any advice on their baby having tongue tie? It was noticed in the hospital by the feeding team, he’s doing really well with his feeds his first weigh in at 5 days only lost 2% birth weight with ebf. The health visitor has said it’s up to us, we’re only worried about his speech further down the line, and he can have the procedure done awake fill he is 16 weeks then after that would need a general anaesthetic. Just after some advice. Was the procedure bad for them? Did it affect your little ones speech not getting it done etc thanks in advance xxx
