Hi, could I get a PPP?
I’m looking advice on social funding. My partner took out a budgeting loan years ago and don’t know what happened but never paid back as he worked shortly after this. Now we’ve found ourselves in a tight spot he’s between jobs as am I and we’re rejected budgeting loan cos of the repaying back the other one back only recently. Was told about Discretionary support and gave number to ring. Has anyone tried this before and know how much they allow you to apply for etc? Bit nervous about ringing up hate having to use these kinds of services but needs must right now to see us all through until the new jobs start up and get all them paid off 🙈
Any negative comments will be ignored, I’m sure at some stage most of you will have to rely on services like this temporarily.

I haven’t personally used the service but don’t be nervous, these services are there for people in short term need. Just call them and see what they say 😊 hope you sort it x
I’ve never heard of this I know many moons ago it was a crisis loan but they stopped didn’t they ? I think the new system you want to use gives you fuel vouchers for gas/electric and food Bank access I think they have stopped all money ones x
