Hi could I get a ppp? Through not fault of my own I have been given a section 21. My landlord has put the rest up by quote abit on my property that I can now longer afford. I’m just wondering what the procedure for council/ housing associations are? Do I need to apply? Hand references in? Or will they automatically put me on the list? Also how long does it take? I need to be out in 8 weeks and panicking like mad

I had section 21 given to me as landlord decided to sell I went to the council they refused to help me until the date was up but if anything would have been a b+b etc but I couldn’t risk it due to working not driving my oldest has been statemented via the council so needed same area. Ive ended up in private rent again they did offer to help with deposit tho but would have taken too long. I was put on the list when I first went to the offices but taken off now
Dont leave unless the bakidfs evict u or the council will say u have made ur self Homeless, make an app with the council take ur section 21 in with u and they should put u on the list
Don’t leave the house unless the balifs are there to kick you out Hun I no it’s stressful but try not to panic.phone your local council first thing in morning as ask for a emergency appointment with a housing officer and they will advice you and put you on the list
Ur best speaking to c.a.b there’s things u have to follow to be able to get the council to help u can’t just get somewhere or up and leave but take notice in to council and apply for housing
Apply for local authority. You don’t usually need to apply for housing associations,they do it off your council application
