Hi 👋🏻 could I have a post please
I’ve just found out I’m pregnant very early 4wks after a miscarriage last Year and 8 months of me and my oh trying again 😊 I’m happy but nervous naturally.
My question is I’ve just been offered a job, can I keep it to myself until I know baby is okay 12 wk point, and could they sack me once they find out?Advice please 😊 xxx

Depending on the job, it may be worth while to tell your boss.. so that you’re not over worked…
But yes you can keep it to yourself. And no they can’t sack you… however you may not get company maternity pay (usually have to be within a job for 15 weeks before finding out you’re pregnant to be entitled to the maternity pay) you’ll probably only receive statutory maternity pay.. look at your employment contact, it should have a section on maternity in there xx
