Hi could I have a post please? my child 1 and a half and she just won’t sleep through the night and I am slowly loosing the will to live😂 doesn’t help that other mums are telling me how they’ve had a lovely nights sleep while I’m running on low fuel😠my daughter has a perfect night time routine of bath bottle and bed but she’s been up 5 times since 9 o’clock and it’s now only 20 past 11😠I know for a fact she’s not hungry does anyone have any tips or guidance with how to deal with a nocturnal child? I’m dreading going back to work in a few weeks as I will look and feel like a zombie. Tia x

I’m sure you will get comments along the lines of leave her to cry, self settle etc. But you have to remember you have a little girl who needs you when she is upset or scared. She is crying because she needs to know you are still there, go and lay down with her, tell her mummy is here. Consider co sleeping (you will both get a better night’s sleep and you will be able to get her back in her own bed, I’ve coslept for 3 years (past year or so only from 4/5 in morning when he’d climb into our bed)at 3.5years old my boy happily sleeps in his own bed now. Xxx
If she has a fresh diaper and full tummy and comfortable room. If she wakes up leave her be. If she cries still let her be. She will go back to sleep and after a few nights she will sleep through the night
