Hi could I have a post with picture attached please?
Tuesday at 2 I got a phone call saying my son (aged 2) has ran into another child and bump heads which sent him flying and he whacked the corner of his eye off a wooden sand pit. The treated him straight away and we rang 111 when I got there. They said to watch out for other symptoms also told me the symptoms to look out for in his eye and wake him every hour for six hours when he fell asleep ect. He’s been perfectly fine still playing eating being his usual self no other symptoms gained however he’s been sleeping in about 2 hours longer, he still wakes during the night like normal but he even fell asleep at half 5 tonight which isn’t like him. He was at his grandad a on the weekend where he stays up later and it’s not often he goes and took the day off nursery yesterday so I’m thinking this could of tired him out but I’m just so concerned, they cut near his eye seems a bit dipped which I’ve only noticed today as the redness has faded and the swelling/bruising has come out. I’m going to try make an emergency appointment just to be safe but my minds going crazy. The bottom pictures are from Tuesday the right is Wednesday and left is a few hours ago. Tia x

They always look worse in the days to follow cos of swelling. I’d get him checked for piece of mind but he’ll be tired out from it and that’s bloody impressive so will have been a good bang. Poor thing, hope you’re both feeling better soon x
I think personally it’s all the swelling and bruising coming out however only you know your child best and if concerned then I’d go get him looked over again x
Bless him, it does look like it’s getting better. The swelling has gone down a little (by the looks of it on top left pic). X
Best get him checked, could be a fracture there somewhere. X
Poor little guy looks very painful 😔
